A Korean sister in our districts Grandma sent her a massive box of Kimchi (Rotten Cabbage). She gave a LOT to the elders in our apartment.... Evertime I open the fridge a stink bomb goes off. 🥹 I am trying to learn to like it. 👍  Our Purple Jacket friend Satoko San is Progressing! This week during our first lesson with our friend Bishops from Nigeria 🇳🇬 he said, "Dang man! You guys converted a Catholic Preist!" 🤷‍♂️ Well see what happens... We saw some cool hummingbird flowers! We had an insane barbecue with a member! He went to Costco and got us right with  Cheesecake All sorts of Japanese meat Sausages 2 chickens Rolls  It was amazing. Happy Thanksgiving 😊  We had Zone Confernece! It was really fun! I love learning more about Jesus Christ and missionary work!  A taxi was 2 inches away from clipping Elder Strong on his bike 🏍! 🤷‍♂️ There are these 2 young girls in our ward that love us. I n all honesty this was probably one of the hardest weeks of my life. This is what I have learned. D&C 29 39  for if they never should have bitter they could not know the sweet— I am so grateful for the bitterness and challenges of the mission this week. It has helped me see the sweetest and most glorious thing of all. I have better learned 2 things that I think will change my life forever. 1. God truly loves us. 2. Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. I know this are true. Because during the most bitter times of my week, when feeling hopeless, being unable to communicate with others, feeling regret for my shortcomings and wanting to give up, I would go into the my small closet and pray. As I pour my heart out to the lord, I have never felt such an overwhelming sense of hope and happiness. It is a sweetness that is only offered because God loves us, and he send his Son to save us.  I am in tears writing this email because of how grateful I am to know my Savior Jesus C...

 We picked up garbage in a river for a service activity. When we finished we were all gathered up waiting for this one older guy. He wondered back with a HAWK in is garbage back.... He didnt really say much about it. I'll put a picture in. 🤷‍♀️ -One friend asked us to pray before we ate together! (We always do with our friends, but he prefired us!) -I ate ジュムボチスチケン you litterly say it. Jumbo Chizu Chicken.  Picture below.  -We tried Kanban. Its homeless man finding with a cardboard sign that says practice english with us. I have never been so embarrassed. Hundreds of college kids walking by us and laughing. We found a friend from it though! 😀 so fun -Last pday me and Elder Strong went fishing. 🐟 🎣  (we got 🥯) it was beautiful! -The talked to a member for about 5 minutes in Japanese!!! 😀  -The other elders got in 2 bike crashes. 🤷‍♀️  I played the piano in Sacrament meeting!! It was super awesome! (I am also now the primary pianist) Super 😁 😂  ...

 When Japanese people play basketball they arent afraid to let it rip from deep. Everytime they do, their whole team yells, "Niceshouuu" it means nice shot🤷‍♀️. There were a lot of niceshouus that got launched over the backboard. It was fun. I met a guy I called Stefu San. (like Steph curry) he was genki. (FUN) We found a lot of new friends this week that have a lot of potential. The lord us really preparing the hearts of people in Shimogamo! Its so much fun. Its super fun to meet up with random people online here.🤷‍♀️  I had a really tasty Tonkatsu. We had stake conference yesterday and it was awesome! It was super fun talking to members!   Hello everyone!  It was another great week in the mission. It was transfer week, so I will be staying in Kyoto with Elder Strong, yay!  Unlimited Shabu yo is like 10 US dollars. Shabu yo is a big pot of brother and unlimited meat, waffles, ice cream. LITTERLY EVERYTHING was like 10 bucks.  Its starting to get cold and leaves are changing yay! 🍂 🍁 I love fall leaves.(foliage) Our purple Shirt lady from last week is actually progressing well!!!! She came to church yesterday and she loved it! Its been so fun to teach her and help her understand the blessings of the gospel! She loves to ask all the members if they have gone to the pool.... 🏊‍♂️.  (Baptism). I can't wait for her to go swimming...☺️☺️🙏🤷‍♀️its actually an insane miracle.  We through an awesome Halloween party!!!! The work this week was slow.
