Elder Maxwell Steven Pohlman

 Hello Everyone! Here is my top 10 from this week. Teaching my companion how to ride a bike. There were a couple grannies that nearly got whiped out. My comps a big 6'4" Polynesian guy from Australia. It would have done some damage....🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ One of the other churches held a Chrismaa Concert. I sang in the choir. A famous comedian came and they broadcasted it on the radio!  My friend that I met online came to church and brought me a big bag of Mochi!👨‍🎤👨‍🎤 The ward here blessed us with Christmas Presents! I have so much food and candy! 🍬 🍫 🍭  We ate all you can eat Shabuyo(Hotpot) on Christmas! It was awesome. All the missionaries went carolling on Chirstmas! Singing christmas hymns in Japanese is super cool! I hit a 3-4 second wheely while streeting. 🚲 It resulted in contact information...... We had a huge YSA party at a members house and made pizzas. (They rock hotdogs, eggs, potatoes, corn, and all sorts of whacky stiff) 🥹😿 Receiving gifts and message...

  Hello Everyone! It was Transfers.  I am staying in Kyoto and got a new Companion named Elder Laiti. He is an absolute stud. He's from Australia and he is super eager to work. This will be his second transfer in Japan!☺️ He is super genki and fun! Japanese will be a grind, but we are just to young boys about to get after it. 🙏🙏🙏 I am stoked! ☺️ This week the Kurabayashi kids were being naughty because they wanted to meet me. 🤔 Their mom said that the won't go to bed at night, and they stay up saying "Pohlman churro aitai!!!" (I want to meet Pohlman churro) I am a little torn.  I played some high level ping pong, and held my own. Ping pong might be my favorite and best sport! 👌  I learned a lot about charity this week. Hello everyone! 👋  This week was so amazing!  It was my first week in a trio. So much fun!  In order to help fill in the gap Elder Strong left I turned into 2016 finals LeBron. I genuinely worked as hard as I could this week. It was fun.🔒🔒🔒 Yesterday's Church was a miracle!  We had a lot of friends pull through.  -Satokos dogs 🐕  were behaving so she made it.🙏 -Some guy we talked to on the street 3 weeks ago decided to pull through. 😆 Miracles Church was crazy! I was flying around, talking to members, helping our friends, and preparing our elders quorum lesson. It was a little stressful.  Then one of the sisters said someone was here. I walked around expecting one of our friends and..... There I see Grandma Michi and Grandpa Doug.  Sad news. Elder Strong us getting transferred away today.🙁 I'll never forget my time spent here in Shimogamo with him. Highlights: -Satoko san. Our purple jacket miracle friend that is still progressing.  -The holiday season is so fun as a missionary. We both dressed up as Santa for the ward chirstmas party. The members here are awesome. -Friday morning service at the farm. We rock all sorts of whacky steez. -Jumbo cheese chicken. -Streeting college students!(wheelies) -Our friend Kramer sends us Buddhist scriptures now. 🙁 -Teaching the funnest english classes! -Talking and making dinner every night. (Elder Strong loves raw chicken) -Finding, teaching, and preparing friends for baptism.  I am super excited to continue to work and move forward. God loves to give us opportunities.
