おはいお (OHIO) ((Good Morning))

 Hello everyone! 

It was another great week in the mission. It was transfer week, so I will be staying in Kyoto with Elder Strong, yay! 

Unlimited Shabu yo is like 10 US dollars. Shabu yo is a big pot of brother and unlimited meat, waffles, ice cream. LITTERLY EVERYTHING was like 10 bucks. 

Its starting to get cold and leaves are changing yay! 🍂 🍁 I love fall leaves.(foliage)

Our purple Shirt lady from last week is actually progressing well!!!! She came to church yesterday and she loved it! Its been so fun to teach her and help her understand the blessings of the gospel! She loves to ask all the members if they have gone to the pool.... 🏊‍♂️.  (Baptism). I can't wait for her to go swimming...☺️☺️🙏🤷‍♀️its actually an insane miracle. 

We through an awesome Halloween party!!!!

The work this week was slow. We are finally starting to teach lessons, but there is so much rejection here. 😫 I remember thinking that only "weak minded people would struggle with rejection". But it can be hard when you street for 2 hours and get nothing out of it. But it makes everything so much more rewarding!!!

I bore my testimony in Sacrament yesterday. INSANE GIFT OF TONGUES MOMENT. I kid you not. I found words thar were buried so deep in my japanese bag to tell this story. I felt fluent for a second. It made me really happy and I felt the spirit strongly. Japanese is coming! 

I had a legit member meal last night! They fed us Nabe. Its basically a soup with everything possible. So good. The members were the Kurabayashis. They had to daughters that were 2 and 4. They were so cute!!!!! We also speak Japanese on a similar level, and us chop sticks on a similar level..... 😀 😄 😉

Mtc Week 1..... (goated)

  What's up everyone!!!!! Saturday is my P-day at the Mtc so here is my first email. Its going to be short and sweet.😃 The MTC is awesome. I genuinely had a great first couple days. My district is awesome and I landed eagle on my kendama. It was genki. 😆 I have had 6 aloha plates in 3 days.... (it's mobettahs but not quite as good). I'm hoping I don't get sick of them.  I am known in my district for making the shimais (sisters) smile.  All jokes aside it's been fun to lock in and focus on the work. The spirit is everywhere and it's fun to be so intune with it. I feel like I have learned a lot already. Japanese will be a challenge but I'm stoked to start learning more. Niceshouuuu 🏀🏀🏀

 When Japanese people play basketball they arent afraid to let it rip from deep. Everytime they do, their whole team yells, "Niceshouuu" it means nice shot🤷‍♀️. There were a lot of niceshouus that got launched over the backboard. It was fun. I met a guy I called Stefu San. (like Steph curry) he was genki. (FUN) We found a lot of new friends this week that have a lot of potential. The lord us really preparing the hearts of people in Shimogamo! Its so much fun. Its super fun to meet up with random people online here.🤷‍♀️  I had a really tasty Tonkatsu. We had stake conference yesterday and it was awesome! It was super fun talking to members! Kinkakuji is awesome! Its a cool golden tower! Pictures below.
