Ang pang lang😠😠😠

 This week was boring. I was super sick from Tuesday-Friday. I am feeling good now though! My comp can ride his bike now too! ⬆️🆙️ 😌 


Everyone from the Philippines has their location set to Kyoto Japan becasue "they want to come here one day". They would always tell me that they wanted to come to church with me, before they told me they live in the Philippines... I fell for their tricks about 5 or 6 times. 
Its super awesome! I found multiple that I referred to missionaries in the Philippines (leo Larson, jonah slighting, and Austin Taylor) take care of my boys.... Haha 


A member that was in active when I got here, came running up to me at church all excited! He said, "Elder Pohlman. I made a list of friends that I am bringing to church with me!" This was a highlight of my week. Its fun to see the lord change the hearts of the people i work with.

A member gave me a wagyu this week. 😆😁😄😁

Japanese people go crazy in the snow. It felt like the end of the world. I loved it!

We just had a ward party! It was super fun!!!
We cooked Mochi, did calligraphy, and sung karaoke!


My Japanese in improving! I can now probably understand 50% of what a native speaker says! Its enough to follow conversations, and contribute in conversations!!!


This week I learned a lot about loving others.

My favorite scripture is Moroni 7 45-48

Its about charity!

My favorite part is "Charity is Long Suffering."

No matter how amazing other people are, they will do things that annoy us, that we disagree with, or that we don't like. 

What does it mean to be Long Suffering?

I think about our Savior on the cross, forgiving those who had betrayed him. I want go become like him. No matter the circumstances in our lives if we can have charity.(long suffering love) We will be happier and successful. I have learned that to be true.

Mtc Week 1..... (goated)

  What's up everyone!!!!! Saturday is my P-day at the Mtc so here is my first email. Its going to be short and sweet.😃 The MTC is awesome. I genuinely had a great first couple days. My district is awesome and I landed eagle on my kendama. It was genki. 😆 I have had 6 aloha plates in 3 days.... (it's mobettahs but not quite as good). I'm hoping I don't get sick of them.  I am known in my district for making the shimais (sisters) smile.  All jokes aside it's been fun to lock in and focus on the work. The spirit is everywhere and it's fun to be so intune with it. I feel like I have learned a lot already. Japanese will be a challenge but I'm stoked to start learning more. Niceshouuuu 🏀🏀🏀

 When Japanese people play basketball they arent afraid to let it rip from deep. Everytime they do, their whole team yells, "Niceshouuu" it means nice shot🤷‍♀️. There were a lot of niceshouus that got launched over the backboard. It was fun. I met a guy I called Stefu San. (like Steph curry) he was genki. (FUN) We found a lot of new friends this week that have a lot of potential. The lord us really preparing the hearts of people in Shimogamo! Its so much fun. Its super fun to meet up with random people online here.🤷‍♀️  I had a really tasty Tonkatsu. We had stake conference yesterday and it was awesome! It was super fun talking to members! Kinkakuji is awesome! Its a cool golden tower! Pictures below.
