Miracles!
Hello everyone! Sorry for another voice message. This week was awesome! Please listen!

Konichiwa, minna-san.
Um, Elder Pullman here. I'm gonna be sending a voice message today out of lack of time. But thank you for listening. This week was insane. Um, today we went fishing on P-day. Uh, zero fish caught, one canceled lesson. Those were our stats, so. an average day on the river. Um, this week was really cool though. We saw a lot of, like, insane miracles.
at the beginning of the week, our zone leader, like, challenged us to do, like make ultra-specific, like, plans and goals.
so Wednesday morning, I was, like, was kinda joking, but I was like, "Let's find a lady in a purple sweatshirt and, like, baptize her." And so we're like, "Okay, we'll do it." And, like, at first I was, like doubting it, I'm like, "There's no way that happens," 'cause we'll talk to a hundred people and, like, no one will even, like, come to church.
But we made it a goal, and we prayed for it, and we, like, searched so diligently for peop- for ladies in purple sweatshirts, and then we finally saw one. She was, like across the street, and so we, like hauled our bikes over to her.
And she was walking into the store, and we're like, "Hey, excuse us, like can we talk to you for a second?" And she was like, "Uh, yeah, like sure. I'm, like busy but sure." And I was like, "Okay." And at first she wasn't really into it, but then we, like talked about how we're missionaries and teach about Jesus Christ, and she loved it. Like, so keen, so interested, like so very rare.
Like, it's hard to explain, like how crazy it was. But, like, this crazy goal that we made that seemed like just nonsense, like it would never happen, like, happens. And we contact her, we do a lesson, we, she comes to our church for, like an English class. And, so yeah, super fun that that happened, and then we also, like another one, it was like raining here super bad on, like Saturday. And so our goal was to just find someone to talk to that takes pity on us, 'cause we're just two missionaries soaking wet out in the pouring rain. And so we are out streeting, like drifting our bikes around just having a good time, just talking to everybody. And we get rejected, Elder Strong gets rejected, and this guy, like overhears what we're talking about and he's like, "What are you guys doing? Like why are you out here?" And we're like, "We're just inviting everybody to church, like you should come." And he was like, people, you know, like the term, like golden family, like golden person?
In Japan it's called, like, you like say, like jin after everybody, after everything to make it like a person. So like American is like American jin. He was a diamond jin, like genuinely so prepared. Like, so we taugh- we taught him a couple lessons.
He lives in Okinawa though, so we don't get to, like teach him or, Like, get to baptize him. But, so awesome that, like he gets to, like receive the gospel. It's really cool. But the mission, it's great. It's not easy, but it's so fun and rewarding. Like, it's hard to explain, like how fun it is when you, like work your butt off all day. And then you go back to the apartment and you just, like relax and just, like text the people that you found that day. And then just, like, I don't know, just develop relationships. It's so fun. The ward is buzzing. It was, uh, I forget what it's called, the primary program yesterday, the hapu, I think it's hapu something. Hapu kai, and the children were electric. It's so fun. Japanese kids are so cute. Like, ah, it's so hard to explain but they're just so cute. But yeah, I'm doing great. send me an email if you have time.
but yeah, love you all. Have a great week. I'm doing good. Send me some peanut butter and an email please.
