🚨INSANE BIKE STORY🚨 (not that crazy)

 Hello Everyone!!!! Thankyou for falling for my clickbait title.

It is really hard for me to take time to send emails here. A lot of people dream of coming go kyoto. On p days we basically explore the whole city.lol

The work here is difficult. There are a lot of people that are somewhat interested, but are too busy to actually try their faith. The hardest part of the work is when people open up to you about trials or things they are dealing with, but then won't take the time to be healed by our savior. (Also i just hit 3 months today and I am not used to waking up at 6:30 every day. 🙃)

HIGHLIGHT! BIKES 🏍 

When streeting we were talking to a guy that was interested but he said he was super busy. (He didn't want go meet with us again). I thought to myself, how could I use my talents to help him. My first thought that came to mind was to talk to him about sports(shohei san ⚾️🧢). But that wasnt good enought. My next thought was genuous. A massive wheelie!! We have been practicing. So I gave it a try and the guy absolutely loved it. The next thing he said was, "I am free on Friday". Lol. Bikes are so much fun. 

There is nothing more rewarding than devoting your time, attention, and gifts to the lord. (Its true)

My japanese is improving. I can get by in casual conversations. But during service when an 70 year old Obachan (grandma) tells me to trim the hedges, I don't understand. And sadly the smile and nod strategy doesn't work for that...🙃

There is a conveyor sushi belt across the street from my apartment. Its called great and spacious sushi.... 
(It tempts me everyday)

That last thing I want to say is that mothers are always right.
Things my mom taught me, and if they are useful on a mission:

-Laundry 👍
-Washing dishes👍
-Cleaning👍
-Making my bed👍
-Tracking weight watchers points (in this case sushi rolls)👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Mom's are the best! 

I know from my pictures you think i am on the funnest vacation ever. (I'm not.)((I basically am)). But the most rewarding joyous part is building my own testimony and sharing it with others. My go to japanese sentence is: Through Jesus christ I am able to feel joy. I miss you all. Japan is so amazing, but not easy. However I feel happiness and joy everyday because of Jesus Christ.

Mtc Week 1..... (goated)

  What's up everyone!!!!! Saturday is my P-day at the Mtc so here is my first email. Its going to be short and sweet.😃 The MTC is awesome. I genuinely had a great first couple days. My district is awesome and I landed eagle on my kendama. It was genki. 😆 I have had 6 aloha plates in 3 days.... (it's mobettahs but not quite as good). I'm hoping I don't get sick of them.  I am known in my district for making the shimais (sisters) smile.  All jokes aside it's been fun to lock in and focus on the work. The spirit is everywhere and it's fun to be so intune with it. I feel like I have learned a lot already. Japanese will be a challenge but I'm stoked to start learning more. Niceshouuuu 🏀🏀🏀

 When Japanese people play basketball they arent afraid to let it rip from deep. Everytime they do, their whole team yells, "Niceshouuu" it means nice shot🤷‍♀️. There were a lot of niceshouus that got launched over the backboard. It was fun. I met a guy I called Stefu San. (like Steph curry) he was genki. (FUN) We found a lot of new friends this week that have a lot of potential. The lord us really preparing the hearts of people in Shimogamo! Its so much fun. Its super fun to meet up with random people online here.🤷‍♀️  I had a really tasty Tonkatsu. We had stake conference yesterday and it was awesome! It was super fun talking to members! Kinkakuji is awesome! Its a cool golden tower! Pictures below.
