 Hello everyone!

I am doing genki(well). 

I just went to 7-11 and got fried chicken, onagiri (kinda sushi thing), and an insane waffle ice cream thing. It was all like 2 dollars. Awesome sauce!

We had zone conference on Thursday and it was electric. There are a lot of really good diligent missionaries that were super fun to hear from. My mission President is the best too. He is so funny and exciting, but he also is very serious with the expecting of who he wants us to be as missionaries!

We found some more insane japanese temples and shrines. 

This place really is amazing.

The work here is a grind, but so fun and rewarding. On Thursday my comp found a sign for our english class. As a joke he put it up in front of the church. We had a Chinese friend see it and come to english class and church yesterday! It was awesome. Crazy miracle. Our friends name is Kramer. He loves the Chinese BOM!!!

We also had a friend that we showed the baptismal font to and as we were talking about baptism he said he wanted go be baptized!!! Yaya!! (We haven't heard from him since thursday) ((😢😢)) sad

One thing my brother did that I really liked is a one sentence takeaway of all the conference talks. We only got to listen to the Sunday morning session yesterday, but here is my takeaway:

Elder Holland: the goat.. IF you have felt the spirit, or seen a miracle through the gospel, NEVER deny it.

Elder Evanson: ALL service invites others to Christ.

Elder Soares: Be kind temperate and loving, it will help you become more like Jesus Christ.

Elder Johnson (he spoke at the mtc): Living the gospel of christ will make you happy during hard times.

Elder Christopherson: “Jesus Christ loves us and is with us, even though our hearts hurt.” Wow.

Sister Spaunnaus: We have a living PROPHET OF GOD. President Nelson's words changed my life truly.

Elder Eyring (my favorite): being proved and tried is the only way to be able to uphold the glory of eternal life.

Love you all! Life is good, bad, easy, hard, happy, sad, BUT better because Jesus Christ overcame the world.

Mtc Week 1..... (goated)

  What's up everyone!!!!! Saturday is my P-day at the Mtc so here is my first email. Its going to be short and sweet.😃 The MTC is awesome. I genuinely had a great first couple days. My district is awesome and I landed eagle on my kendama. It was genki. 😆 I have had 6 aloha plates in 3 days.... (it's mobettahs but not quite as good). I'm hoping I don't get sick of them.  I am known in my district for making the shimais (sisters) smile.  All jokes aside it's been fun to lock in and focus on the work. The spirit is everywhere and it's fun to be so intune with it. I feel like I have learned a lot already. Japanese will be a challenge but I'm stoked to start learning more. Niceshouuuu 🏀🏀🏀

 When Japanese people play basketball they arent afraid to let it rip from deep. Everytime they do, their whole team yells, "Niceshouuu" it means nice shot🤷‍♀️. There were a lot of niceshouus that got launched over the backboard. It was fun. I met a guy I called Stefu San. (like Steph curry) he was genki. (FUN) We found a lot of new friends this week that have a lot of potential. The lord us really preparing the hearts of people in Shimogamo! Its so much fun. Its super fun to meet up with random people online here.🤷‍♀️  I had a really tasty Tonkatsu. We had stake conference yesterday and it was awesome! It was super fun talking to members! Kinkakuji is awesome! Its a cool golden tower! Pictures below.
